To encourage the involvement of Muslimah in religious programmes at mosques, the Muslimah Guidance Class at Brunei Muara District Mosques and the Department of Mosque Affairs held an Ihya Maulidur Rasul Event. It was held at Pehin Datu Imam Haji Abdul Mokti Mosque, Kampung Burong Pingai Ayer, 16th September morning.

The reading of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah was led by Datin Hajah Nahriah binti Haji Awang Asbi, wife of the Minister of Religious Affairs, followed by the recital of selawat and dikir. Such a ceremony aimed to foster ties among mosque congregants and learn different forms of Selawat.
